Time:  Sunday, August 17^th, 2 pm until the bonfire dies.

We will eat around 4:30 or 5:00.

 

Place:  Morehouse’s property in Cohocton, NY - see directions at bottom - a one-hour +15 minute drive from Rochester.

 

Stuff to bring:  a dish to pass (bring cold things in a cooler).

Bathing suits, towels, bug spray, jeans and sneakers for hiking,

a hat (optional), lawn chairs, sweatshirt for cool evening.

 

We will provide burgers and dogs, beverages, paper goods, and marshmallows for the fire later.

Directions from Rochester 390

 

Take 390 South to Exit 2 - Cohocton.

Make a left off exit ramp. Make a right (in two blocks) on Route 415 into Cohocton. At red light in Cohocton make a left and in one block make a right onto Warner Avenue. Warner Ave. becomes a country road. Stay on it for about 4 miles. You will go down two very steep dips before the road takes a 90-degree turn (sign warns of turn). At this point don’t take the turn but go straight into the woods on Eveland Road, a seasonal dirt road. Take it slow, as it’s a rough road and goes down hill (we take it in a low gear). The road forks within a few hundred feet – take the left hand fork (the road less traveled) to the dead end. Go through the gate and park in the field on the right where an area has been mowed for safe parking.
