Free and Confidential Services

The Rochester area possesses teenage and unmarried pregnancy rates that are among the highest in the state. Place of Hope is a center that meets these future parents at their point of need, providing them the assistance required when facing the difficulties of pregnancy and parenthood.

Programs include:

  • Care Net Pregnancy Center, affiliated with Embracing Options

    • Free and confidential pregnancy and STD testing

    • Education on pregnancy, abortion, and abortion alternatives

    • Ongoing peer counseling and emotional support

    • PACE post-abortion counseling

    • Referrals for medical or legal assistance, adoption and foster care, or other community services

  • Ready & Waiting public middle and high school program

    • designed to reach young people with a message of hope, sexual purity, and self-worth

  • Support classes for our young women in nutrition counseling for young mothers

    • sponsored by the Monroe County Cooperative Extension

  • CHIPS – Christ’s Helpers In Parental Strife

    • establishing wholeness in Christ for single parent households.

  • Bundles of Joy thrift shop with resources and essentials for mother and baby
