Collaborative Ministries

In
addition to the medical services being offered by the providers at Grace
Family Medicine Associates (GFM), the crisis pregnancy services of
Embracing
Options (EO), and the teen support at
Rochester Youth
Outreach (RYO), His Branches also has collaborative relationships with other
institutions. These collaborative partners are part of a broader vision
for our community in which we desire to go beyond individual medical needs
to address broader community needs. Housed within our building and sharing
overhead for space, the collaborative partners carry out various aspects
of the broader vision together with us.
The
current partners consist of the Institute for Social Entrepreneurship (ISE), which
focuses on economic development and the role of social investment for
economic impact in the community, and the Center for Christian Social
Ministries
(CCSM) that helps
identify and develop a fertile place for college and seminary students to
interact with local businesses and ministries to gain first hand
experience in grass roots community transformation.
We feel we are developing a synergy with our current
collaborative partners that will allow us to address a multitude of
community concerns with the help of others who have complimentary
expertise and skill. Looking beyond these, expanded opportunities and
relationships are already underway with local neighborhood and community
action groups to further advance our mission and vision.
