Block Party 2018

What an amazing day! Everyone had a wonderful time at our 13th annual Arnett Block Party on Saturday, August 4th! Volunteers started arriving at 9:00 am, and by noon when the party started the tents were up and Tom Stefano on sound had us all set up and rocking to the Gospel! Willie Lightfoot did a amazing job as our MC for the afternoon. The cold winter is coming! Unfortunately many young people in our neighborhoods don’t have winter coats that fit them. But, fortunately, God has a plan for some of them! Block Party 2017

Was this the best one yet? We all had a marvelous time at our 12th annual Arnett Block Party on Saturday, August 5th. Volunteers started arriving at 9:00 am, and by noon when the party started we were up and Bob Puff had us all rocking to the Gospel! Seven churches pitched in with music, break dancing, a magic show, amazing bubbles, the bike clinic, and basketball hoops, jump rope, and hula hoop contests. 2016 Park Tree

It’s up and shining! This year’s community Christmas tree in our Garden Park on Arnett Boulevard was donated and brought back from Steuben County on December 2, set up by an enthusiastic group of neighborhood volunteers and local Firemen the next day, and decorated from top to bottom the following Monday by classrooms of local elementary school students.
